I have been victim of internet scam regarding the signature of a rental agreement in Geneva. I signed an agreement, we exchanged scans of our identity card and transferred a deposit to a Spanish bank account running under the name of Mary Ann Amada Quijano. The person I dealt with used the German identity card of Ms. Carina Huchler.
I'm afraid that my identity card can be used for other purposes. I will declare it stolen very shortly.
Please do not trust anyone using the following ID card:

The end of the "jungle" in Calais?
The French government seems determined to "cleanse" the so-called jungle near Calais of its Afghan inhabitants. According to the charity "Salam", 800 migrants might be placed in administrative detention, in order to be forcefully deported to Afghanistan. Who will judge on the decision to deport 800 people? How might the government be able to provide sufficient translation, jurdicial help, and procedural advice to such a number of people? How can the respect of their rights to individual, fair trials under the Genova convention be insured? And on which information does the government base its decision to review its own judgement from november 2008 that the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan was not ripe to permit a forced return of Afghan migrants?
